The National Union of Public Service and Allied workers (NUPSAW) is a union established in August 1998 in terms of the Labor Relations Act, 1995. Our scope of operation is in both the Public Service and Private Sector in the entire RSA with our Head Office situated at SUCCESS MATAITSANE House, 17 Iris street, Heatherdale, Akasia, Pretoria, 0182. NUPSAW is admitted to the Public Service Coordinating Bargaining Council (PSCBC) and to major sectoral bargaining councils in the Public Service. Our primary objective is to promote and protect the interest of our members, i.e. Workers First.

– Matric Certificate, plus
– Computer Certificate i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To provide cleaning and administrative support duties in line with occupational health and safety standards.
KEY RESULT AREAS
Clean all offices within the premises
Answering the telephone and recording messages accordingly
Typing and telefaxing letters and/or correspondence
Maintain an efficient and proper filing system for all documents
Processing recruitment and termination forms for membership
Assist in administrative duties pertaining to this office
Processing and updating membership records
Assist in preparing minutes, agenda, reports and correspondence for the Province and Provincial Secretary
Recording in the appropriate registers both incoming and outgoing mail
Carry out all instructions given by the Head office and Provincial Secretary.
